Meet Barbara
Barbara was born and grew up in Leeds and read Psychology at the University of Sheffield before becoming an actor in theatre, radio and television.
A short spell at junior school in France gave Barbara a lasting sense of what it is to find ways to connect while you scramble to find your language. Barbara qualified as an Integral Coach, an approach that explores the creative possibilities which emerge by building self acceptance, self awareness and practical action.
Using roleplay and forum theatre techniques Barbara sees clients consistently finding new and liberating possibilities in conversations that have previously felt intractable or intimidating. She is a heartfelt advocate for the skill of crafting a spoken story, which can crystallise purpose and serve leaders so well.
Barbara continues to act in theatre and devises plays and she is an Associate of the international story company Narativ. She has worked in many business sectors including finance and consultancy, law, public sector and NGOs, pharmaceuticals, engineering, retail, and media and communications
