Meet Jessica

Jess is both a generalist and a specialist, and an academic as well as a specialist voice and dialect coach, working primarily with leading stage and film actors, she works, too, with business leaders and business executives on both their general and their specifically vocal communications needs.

All her clients benefit from her academic research into the interaction between speaker, audience and environment.

Jess holds a BA in English Language and Literature from Oxford University. She later completed a Masters in Voice at the internationally renowned Royal Central School of Speech and Drama, where she has also lectured.

She is currently writing a book on learning accents, to be published by Bloomsbury in 2024.

Jess is a Voice and Dialect coach experienced in working with actors across all mediums. Her recent television and film credits include Rebecca (Working Title/Netflix) and Four Weddings and a Funeral (Hulu). Jess has taught voice, speech and dialects at institutions including the Royal Central School of Speech and Drama, Mountview Academy of Theatre Arts, the National Youth Theatre, Italia Conti, Arts Ed and East 15.

She has a BA in English from the University of Oxford and an MA in Voice Studies from the Royal Central School of Speech and Drama. She began her career working with casting directors and actors’ agents, which gives her a unique insight into the audition process.
