Meet Pooja
Pooj grew up in North London and has always been fascinated by people, communication, and what helps individuals feel confident and connected. This first led her into theatre and performance, before evolving into a career in facilitation, coaching, and leadership development.
She studied Theatre Studies at the University of Brighton and has since spent more than 20 years designing and delivering programmes that help people communicate with greater impact, lead authentically, and build stronger relationships at work.
Pooj is a facilitator, coach, and certified Insights Discovery Practitioner who specialises in Leadership Development, Communication Skills, Psychological Safety, and Equity, Diversity & Inclusion (EDI). Her work is grounded in the belief that confident, authentic communication is something everyone can develop with the right support, challenge, and environment.
Alongside her corporate work, Pooj has enjoyed a successful 30-year career as a professional actor in television and theatre most famously for her roles in Bend it Like Beckham and Eastenders. She brings this performance background into her facilitation style, combining storytelling, behavioural coaching, warmth, and practical tools to create engaging learning experiences that build confidence quickly and sustainably.
